Ernie Brown – Weekends & Fill-in

Ernie Brown

An long- time Cincinnati radio voice and an incredibly versatile broadcaster, Ernie Brown has spent over 45 years in radio, the vast majority of which has been here in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky market. A native of Independence, Kentucky, Ernie’s career has involved multiple formats, positions and stations. Fifteen years of his career was spent on Album & Classic Rock formats, before moving to Country Radio in 1998.

With us here at Classic Country 105.9 & 106.7 Ernie has filled an incredible variety of tasks and shifts, including air work, commercial production, news, remote broadcasts and personal appearances. When somebody vacations, he is their temporary fill-in. This is much harder than it first appears. An air personality called on to do this is constantly being thrust into situations that require the person to rapidly adapt to a temporary environment. The fact that Ernie fulfills these roles with confidence and aplomb is a testament to his skill and his professionalism.

When he isn’t helping us to make Classic Country Radio the best it can be, he can usually be found riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle- Old Blue 92 or attending his Grandson’s games or working in the yard.
